The countdown has begun and the Kingdom’s new fleet of bright red buses has now arrived in town. These will be ready to operate from the 15th of February 2015 so why not come and visit us on the launch day at one of our bus terminals at Manama, Muharraq or Isa Town and be the first to try these stunning new buses which will be running on all current bus routes until a new network of extended routes is launched on the 1st April 2015.

Your new buses are the most advanced of their kind, bringing to the Kingdom fantastic new facilities to ensure that all our passengers receive a comfortable and enjoyable journey. All of the buses will be driven by professional bus drivers who have received intensive upskilling and route training by an expert training team from the UK who have international safety accreditation.

The buses have European award winning design for accessibility so that everyone can use them with ease and comfort. Each bus features the latest cutting edge safety and information standards with on-bus smartcard top up facilities, infotainment screens, security cameras and easy access via low floor entry and wheelchair user ramps – our buses are particularly suitable for people who are elderly, have children in pushchairs, have heavy shopping or luggage or who have restricted mobility.

So why not find out more about the buses, routes and fares as well as the future changes through 2015? Our management team is looking forward to meeting you on the launch day and will help you to experience the changes for yourself.
