AMA Delivers 48 Numbers Pressure Vessels to Jubail Water Desalination Project in KSA

Ahmed Mansoor Al A’ali Co. BSC(c) delivers a major export project of 48 Dual Media Pressure Filters (DMPF) for the Jubail 3A water desalination plant in KSA. Each piece of this DMPF equipment is 25 Meters in length and 7 Meters in height, weighing 100 metric tons, manufactured in AMA group’s state of the art heavy fabrication facility and delivered from AMA’s International jetty in Askar, Kingdom of Bahrain.

“This is an iconic export project for our company and we are proud to once again contribute towards putting the ‘Made in Bahrain’ heavy industrial products on the global map. This technological product was entirely designed and manufactured by the highly experienced team of AMA-Structural Mechanical Division” stated the Head of Business Mr. Haresh Patel.

Vice President Water and Technical Services, KSA ACWA Power Mr. Tariq Nada stated that “Jazlah Water Desalination plant is one of the largest plants in the world using a highly efficient Reverse Osmosis process. AMA follow a stringent design and quality control process and the project of 48 DMPFs, weighing around 4800 metric tons was professionally managed, manufactured with high quality, and delivered on time at the plant site in Jubail. This has assisted us immensely in the critical phases of project development. We recognize the efforts of the entire team towards accomplishing this noteworthy achievement”.
